Minolta made its name introducing amazing new features in its cameras. You may remember, "From the Mind of Minolta." To be direct, Minolta really made its name in many ways besides cameras, but they certainly did make some great film cameras including the 700si, 800si, 7 and 9. You can't really go wrong with any model A-mount camera it is more of a matter of features rather than quality.
