The Minolta 200mm f2.8 is the lens more consistently desired by Minolta and Sony shooters. It is unknown if Sony will ever re-release this A-mount gem, but if they do rest assured the price will probably be heart-stopping.
The 200mm f2.8 comes in two types, the standard and the "high-speed" or HS model. Both are white-bodied, APO lenses. The HS has a faster gear system so it focuses faster than the non-HS version. ($800-1500 depending on version and condition 2010)
