Zeiss Lenses

Sony has formed a partnership with Carl Zeiss. Zeiss has long been considered to be one of the top lens design and production companies. As a Minolta or Sony dSLR owner it is exciting to know that auto focus Zeiss lenses are only available for our cameras!

The Zeiss line currently consists of the following:

  • 85mm f1.4
  • 135mm f1.8 - One of the worlds best 135mm lenses!
  • 16-35mm f2.8 - At the time of writing, we are still waiting for this to be released.
  • 16-80mm f3.5-4.5 - Designed for APS. Top image quality, mixed reports on build quality.
  • 24-70mm f2.8 - World class zoom.
