This is an often overlooked classic Minolta lens. It has the classic metal build and color that you would expect of the old Minoltas. Some say it is not pixel sharp others say it is, so it may come down to sample variation and condition.
This lens is passed over because of its limited range. 24-50mm is actually more of a classic than most realize. On an APS camera it will be approximately equivalent to a 36-75 witch matches the common 35-70 range closely. On a full frame camera, A850/900, many will appreciate this moderate wide/normal zoom.

Can be hard to find. I suppose, once people buy it, they don't give it up easily.
Many Dyxum reviews here.
